Simply put it is a Mass for persons with disabilities. However, everyone is welcome.
The Mass at 3 pm on the first Sunday of evert month is celebrated in Spanish, with adaptations made in the music, readings, homily, and reception of the Eucharist, to help meet the needs of all participants.
What this means is...
Children with disabilities are altar servers.
Mass is interactive; there is a live play to help families understand the mass better.
The Eucharist is mixed with water to be able to help people take Jesus without much difficulty.
It is a Mass that reminds us that Jesus knows and loves each one of us. It displays what are community is built on, love.
A reception is held after in the original church so that families can get to know each other better.
You don’t have to have a family member with a disability, you just have to love that we are one body, a universal church, that welcomes all.
